Disney Cruise Line Trip Report
August 1998 - Disney Magic
Introduction
My wife and I had heard rumors of the Disney Cruise Line since before our trip to Walt Disney World in December of 1996.
When we arrived at Walt Disney World just after Christmas of that year, we were presented with plenty of promotional information on Disney's newest endeavor (even more-so than what we saw for the upcoming Animal Kingdom).
At the Magic Kingdom, as part of the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World celebrations, we were treated to a Disney infomercial which ended with an invitation to "experience the magic" of Disney's upcoming cruise line.
Annabelle (my wife) and I, both great Disney fans, decided right off that we'd have to take the cruise.
Not being made of money, we decided we'd wait until the millenium before returning to Walt Disney World, and experience the new cruise line at that time.
But as prospects of New Year's at Walt Disney World became dim (if you're not booked by now, forget it), we opted to jump aboard the cruise line's inaugural celebrations.
If you're not booked (for the millenium at Walt Disney World) by now, forget it.
